Update...It's been too long...

Hi everyone!!! Well, I'm still working on my revision of Crazed Love...yeah, I changed the name. It at first was Cupid's Arrow, and the Crazy Love. As for the rest of my life...
I'll definitely be finished with my B.A. in December! -No keeping fingers crossed about that one. It's a done deal.
I'm also starting my new gig at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation! I'll be a Department Coordinator II. I guess some of you are like...why the hell are you so excited about working? You're 24...you'll have years to actually do that....why don't you live a little? Well, this is my first full-time position!!! I finally won't feel like I'm literally living from paycheck to paycheck, feeling inadequate because I can't really afford to support myself. I have to say, they should let students, especially if they aren't receiving work-study, to work more than 20 hours even if it is a student employee position. A person can't live off of 500 a month...and those of you who say you can...you're sadly in denial.
I guess this blog is hardly romantic...isn't it? Maybe I should change the name of it...
I have yet to write a free short story to post. Well, I do have a few short stories but I don't know what I want to do with them yet...they were written for school...
Anyway, this is about it...my achievements, yeah!!! and my complaints. You have to complain somewhere, don't you?

Until next time...this is way so much longer than my blog on Torrid Temptations.

Good News!!!!

I start my first ever full-time position the 23rd of this month!!!!
I'll be back on the 15th, and then probably the 17th too with more, as I will probably have to have a lot of immunization shots on the 17th so I can start my new job on the 23rd...

Do you ever get annoyed by those who seem to want something for nothing?

I'm not necessarily supporting Core Rythms or the company...because I don't work for the company or own stock. I can't seem to get over the idea that people get mad when they opt in for something more than they thought they did, without doing the research prior to buying to product. Then they want to simply say the company does bad business, because they, the consumer, failed to find out all the details to what they were buying. My point is, it is the consumer's job to protect themselves, especially when the protection isn't being offered by someone else. There is an easy way to protect yourself, research, research and then sit back and think about what you found, and then do some more research if you're still not sure. I guess, my piece of sanity today that I am offering is: Research before you purchase.

Interview

Oh! I forgot to mention, my interview is posted at Coffee Time Romance! Go and check it out!

New Post

I know I promised I'd write more often...

Have you ever bought something and then wondered afterward...??
I just ordered Core Rythms. I guess I'll be able to tell you all about it in a couple of weeks, or as soon as it gets here (probably in about 2 weeks).

I also have to say that jury duty isn't as bad as it seems. I was summoned for jury duty May 14th. It lasted four days for me, not bad. Got paid to sit around and do absolutely nothing most of the time. Even witnessed lawyers arguing.

Book wise, I don't have anything new out, but I am working on something. Can't say if it'll be published or not, but it's one of those projects where you have to finish it one way or another because you can't focus on any other writing until you are.

Well, happy memorial day to everyone and eat plenty and worry about the calories later.

Post number two...I think I'm finally getting somewhere with the idea of blogging...maybe...not...:)

I just posted my first post on torridtemptations.blogspot.com! I have to admit, I was a little nervous, because this is me we're talking about! Check it out and let me know if I said anything potentially embarrassing. Chances are I did, and knowing how I am I'll probably do it again, and again, because...there are just some things that defy logic and reasoning.

Anyway good news! I've just received 5 lips (stars) for The Man Upstairs from FallenAngel Review!

Greetings!

Hi everyone! I'm Cassi Armstrong, Author of Love in the Bahamas, and of The Man Upstairs, my latest release from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. Feel free to check out the site: http://www.whiskeycreekpresstorrid.com (must be 18 or older) and for those who are 17 and younger check out http://www.whiskeycreekpress.com where you'll find lots of great books to purchase.

Please feel free to join me on the 15th of every month on my other blog Torrid Temptations, and there are also other authors from Whiskey Creek Press that will be blogging on other days.

A little about me:
I live in Cleveland, OH, where many who come to visit or live here also joke about how the sun never shines! lol.
I'm a senior in college (graduating December 2007-lets keep our fingers crossed about that), and I love writing almost as much as I love to daydream about tall, dark, gorgeous hunks.

I hope in the future that I will be able to post some of my other minor writings for the public on my blog. For now, enjoy!
